Fifteenth Annual Gathering in Biosemiotics – Copenhagen 30 June to 4 July 2015

Gatherings in Biosemiotics is the annual meeting of world scholars studying the myriad of communication and sign processes in living systems, from cellular signaling and communication in physiological systems to organisms and interspecies communication, up to the embedded sign-processes in human cognition and semiosis.

The gathering was successfully launched in Copenhagen in 2000 and after fifteen years it returns to the city where it started, now under the auspices of Aalborg University Copenhagen in collaboration with the International Society of Biosemiotic Studies and the Augmented Cognition lab at the Department of Architecture, Design and Media Technology.

News: 

On the 29 and 30 of June, the welcoming and registration desk will be open from 8:30 to 10:00.

As you come in in the main building (A. C. Meyers Vænge 15), you will see it just 10 meters to the right from the main entrance. That is where the auditorium for the conference is.

If you are coming for the pre-conference symposium/workshop, go to the registration desk, or to the receptionists at the entrance of the building, and they will guide you to the room (Fkj 12/0.06 ).
